Restoring the old, embracing the new

James Bull have provided some exceptional results where attention to detail is critical. Our team have refurbished, restored and in some cases recreated hardware items, ensuring they reflect the heritage of the building in every sense. Behind the gilt edged handles, and locks we have been able to integrate technology resulting in that perfect mix of old and new.

Isaac Theatre Royal

In 2013 James Bull were instrumental in the refurbishing of The Isaac Theatre Royal in Christchurch, following the 2011 earthquakes.
Initially asked to assist with the hardware schedule they then were engaged to provide a mixture of services restoring, and in some cases recreating hardware to retain the authentic appearance in such an austere building.

Government House

In 2010 James Bull were instrumental in the refurbishing of Government House in Wellington.
